“When you need to get your hustle on, be driven by goals, not emotions.” -Lilly Singh (author of How to be a Bawse)
There are some days when I don’t feel like doing yoga or working out my abs, but I do it anyway regardless of how I feel because I know I will physically feel better about myself afterwards. Plus, I know my mind will be thankful for it as I do it to build up that mental strength. I need to do a morning ritual that involves me working out to build up my mental capacity & to work on being tough, mentally.
Everyday, I have the feeling to dance, but that is driven by my passion-not emotion. I have to work on myself as a dancer to make sure I not only stay in shape but to keep my muscles strong. I refuse to become what you call normal.
I have this need to improve myself on a daily basis. It’s not just working out, but it’s the mental self-improvement. I read to educate myself. Sometimes, I read books that are entertaining & educating. It has to be very interesting for me to get intrigued.
This post is part of the 90day challenge I have for myself that is inspired by Lilly Singh’s book, “How to be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life.”
