“Mistakes don’t exist just to make us feel bad about ourselves; They are opportunities that we should not ignore or shy away from.” -Lilly Singh
There have been times when I have felt bad about my mistakes, but that doesn’t stop me from expanding my mind. I don’t have any regrets in my life since I have turned my regrets into lessons. The opportunities that I have found from my mistakes are that I should begin again, but make a smarter decision & this time more clearly.
I have learned so much about myself throughout my 20s & one of the things that sticks out the most is that not only should I be calm & mindful in a moment of stress, but I can become the storm & rise from the calm. I have the power to make it so.
This post is inspired by Lilly Singh’s book, “How to be a Bawse: A Guide to Consisting Life.” I’m doing a #90DayChallenge inspired by her book that’s dedicated to what I’ve learned from her book.
