Commit to Yourself

“Your commitment isn’t a coupon with fine print.” – Lilly Singh

Meaning your commitment has no expiration date, there are no setbacks, no liability  & not that it can only be used when you feel like it.

You have to be committed to your dreams, your goals on a daily, weekly & monthly basis. Your goals don’t care how you feel. You have to wake up & do what you have to do in order to succeed as who you are. You have to persist until something happens. You have to keep going even when times are tough & you feel like giving up. That’s when you have the strength to push harder.

I’m a dancer & I take dance classes to push myself each night & each week. It not only motivates me to get better, but inspires me to be better & be my best self.

As a fashion blogger, who is creating her content with words, I’m inspired by other fashion bloggers out there who have their own style & don’t talk about the same things as everyone else is talking about. I mean the bloggers that talk about their lives, where they are traveling & their experiences, what’s happening in their environment. Also, I like the ones who have different take on their outfits & speak on how it makes them feel, instead of saying they are wearing this because it looks good together or whatever it is.

This post is inspired by Lilly Singh’s book, “How to be a Bawse” I’m inspired by her to do a #90DayChallenge for myself that presents what I have learned from her book.
