“Doing the work eliminates the need for luck.” – Lilly Singh

I don’t f**k with luck. I don’t think it’s real. All my life, I’ve been told by my parents & friends I don’t speak to anymore, that I should have, “good luck.” Idn what that means & I don’t have to understand it if I don’t want to. In fact, I don’t need luck. It’s unnecessary & unimportant. I’ve been told that people that who are where they are at in life because of luck & I doubt it because I know they did out of hard work & they work smarter. I don’t think anyone is really “lucky.” Unless, they believe in luck & its magical powers. But, that’s another story for another day. Idn if I’ll meet someone who believes in luck or if I have already met them. Who knows?

This post is inspired by Lilly Singh’s book, “How to be a Bawse” I am doing a #90DayChallenge that presents what I have learned from her book.
