“Focus on what deserves your attention.” – Lilly Singh
I feel like there are some days when I get distracted & just dance in my room to the songs I can freestyle to. However, I don’t think that’s a distraction because that makes me a better dancer, therefore inspires me to what I can choreograph for a performance.
As for other distractions, like resting/taking a nap that sometimes bothers me because I know I could be doing something productive like reading a book or dancing in my room. When I’ve been productive for a certain number of hours, it’s important to take a short break.
As for what deserves my attention, are my dreams & what I long for. I know it’s redundant on this blog, however it’s worth mentioning that I have to pursue what I am passionate about. I am capable of SO much more than that. I know what I can do. I know what I am capable of doing. I just need to depart my comfort zones for good and somehow leave them behind. I need to live my life to the fullest & experience life the way I want to get to know more people & become the best I can be.
This post is inspired by Lilly Singh’s book, “How to be a Bawse.” I am doing a #90DayChallenge for myself that presents what I have learned from her book.
