What My Goals for Dreams Mean to Me

Having goals are good, but actually executing those goals & taking them to fruition are what make you incredible. How you’re going to take those goals to fruition is part of the process. The whole thing is to become who you’re supposed to be & the person you’re going to be that will make you successful. All this is good & all, but you have to take steps to reach farther for those goals & actually make connections & make money to take these goals to fruition. Experience in any field is vital. As someone who is working on herself to strive to be better each day, I have some experience in fashion & some in dance. And I continue to work on what I have to do to be the person that will bring me to my best self where I’ll be successful.

To be deeply passionate about what I want to pursue, I don’t suffer for my art. Dance is my form of art. Fashion is the medium I use to express myself. I know it’s also an art form, but I mainly focus on dance. The best dancers can fund their profession – same for choreographers. I have to educate myself in dance by taking the classes in person, not just the dance tutorials. It has to be something that I can put on my dance resumé. I can watch dance videos all day & get so hyped about it. It inspires & motivates me to freestyle dance & to create my own choreography for the songs I can actually dance to(except for EDM). Dance is not just something I enjoy, it fuels my passion & it makes me come alive. I can feel it in my bones. Dance actually makes me want to improve myself on a physical level & actually follow through with it.

On the other hand, fashion presents who I’d like to be, who I can become & who I aspire to be. On this level, its like I can change my life with fashion. By that I mean, with my personal style I can wear outfits that show my true self. It’s more than looking good for the photos, it’s the body language aspect. It’s not like I know something about psychology & fashion, but I know alot about myself to say what’s on my mind. Sure, there’s psychology about fashion, but that doesn’t necessarily mean what you’re wearing has a full psychological report on your present life. I love fashion & it’s beautiful & inspiring. It’s one of the creative spaces where you can create anything you want & it’s magic!

The best thing to do for yourself is self-talk so that you can self-discipline & work on yourself from starting with you. The habits that you have are what help you become successful. There are so many ways to change your life. There are so many ways to transform your life that you can only pick one to make a difference in your own world. You can choose what universe you want to live in, even though we live on the same Earth. I can choose what world I want to live in & create my present so that I can change my present & my future.

The Case for Not Being Wealthy

Wealth is what I aspire to have in terms of memories, experiences & friends. Also, I aspire to be self-aware. In order to do this, I educate myself in self-help books, business & finance books as well. It’s all well & good being wealthy in material things & being wealthy in financial terms. However, having all the materialistic things that I want is not what I really want in my life. In the end, we don’t get to keep those cars, clothes, crystal earrings & diamond rings. Although, being a lifestyle/fashion blogger requires me to go shopping for clothes, shoes, jewelry, & bags/clutches; I don’t do this very often. It’s not like I don’t see the point, because I see it. I’m at a point in my life where I’m taking care of myself on a mental level. I get it that you have to work smart to get to that level as I’ve had retail jobs, which aren’t fun. Anyways, I digress. I don’t think it’s important to be rich in funds, as long as you’re pursuing your goals & taking them to fruition & changing your life for the better. I’d rather be wealthy. At this point in my life, I’m wealthy in friends, family, food & in intelligence (continuously working on this). On another level, I see why it’s important to be wealthy in funds because that supports yourself, what you have to pursue to change lives & to improve your own life. Being wealthy isn’t only a mindset, it’s a way of life. I aspire to be that way. I realize that it takes time AND money. Both are important to sustain our lives here. Like I said, I’d rather be wealthy than not have anything in my life to support myself with.

Importance of Being Persian

I did a photoshoot last week with a photographer via Snappr & it went very well. The photos are amazing! i had so much fun!

My Persian culture is important to me because it involves family & my Persian friends & the hospitality. The best part of being Persian is the food because it brings family together & its not just the fragrance of the food while it is being cooked & then served. There are certain ways of doing things, just like every culture has. For example, when you enter and the leave the party, you have to say hello to EVERYONE and say bye to everyone before you leave, even if they’re not in the room but are at the party. That’s just how it is. Us, Persians will ask you several times if you want the pastry/dinner or tea until you say, “yes,” even if you don’t want it. It’s called being polite. I’ve learned to not be too polite. You can reject a dish politely, but I don’t know how to do that. Although, if I’m allergic to it, I know how to say politely, “no, thank you.” I enjoy celebrating my Persian culture every new year, which is on the first day of spring. We celebrate this as a new beginning or a fresh start. I’ve actually jumped over candles, so that I’m jumping over the fire. This symbolizes taking away the negativity. This is one of my favorite days of the year because I celebrate it with my relatives & cousins. One of my favorite things about being Persian is always looking our best, no matter the occasion or event. It’s always fun.

Through the Fire

“Nobody achieves great success without walking through the fire.” Jen Sincero

For me, that fire is a storm where I feel stagnant in a comfort zone. I’ve been there for far too long. I’ve been praying to get out for four years now. I don’t know for how long I’ll be in this comfort zone. I want to get out if it since it’s not helping at all. I realize that life begins outside of my comfort zone. It’s quite rare for me to be outside of my comfort zones – especially my physical comfort zone. I wouldn’t say it’s my fault entirely because there’s another person who wouldn’t allow nor let me be outside of that. I’m not going to say who it is. However, I have don’t have any regrets. It’s that I have learned my lessons from those regrets & to not repeat them.

“Become aware of what makes you feel good, & go do that.” -Jen Sincero

I am mainly passionate about dance & fashion. However, pursuing projects that add another form of income is also my passion. That passion is building up.  I want to create things. Things that will not only change my world, but the world around me as well. As I have mentioned in this blog, I am not going to reveal what those projects are until they come to fruition. As we all know, it does make a person feel good to be making money. However, I’d rather make a difference in my life. I’d rather change my life for the better. I’m aware that I will have to change my mindset for that & I will have to work hard & work smart in order for my dreams to come alive.

“What you focus on you create more of, appreciation appreciates, badassery badassifies.”    -Jen Sincero

It’s important to be clear on what you want in life. I know what I want to pursue. I’m aware that I have to go do that. However in MA, there’s isn’t much opportunity to do what I want to pursue. I’m the creative type. I’d rather perform & express myself via dance. I’d rather express how I perceive my dreams via fashion. There’s SO much that I have to do to design my own life. I know I have time, but the thing is that I don’t. It’s important that I pursue everything that I have in mind so that I live a fulfilled life.

“When you choose freedom & happiness over wanting to be right or to be seen, you win.” -Jen Sincero

What I really want in life is the freedom to travel wherever I please with no constraints. I want the freedom to buy whatever I want in order to express myself fully. I want to express myself through dance as well by changing the way I dance by taking different dance classes to integrate into my style.  As far as networking with people, I don’t want constraints there either. I want to be able connect with them & create beautiful projects with those I work with.

“If you wrap your mind around who you really are, really wrap your mind around the fact you are Universal Energy, & think of it often, you will understand why you are such a big freaking deal.”  -Jen Sincero

I know who I really am, although Idn if I am universal energy, yet. Therefore, I don’t think of that often. However, I will like to get to that point & to understand that I am big freaking deal.

I know I am kind, generous, nice, & wonderful. Although, I am passionate about a bunch of things. The things that I am mostly passionate about are dance & fashion.  I am obsessed with music. I realize that the things that I want to pursue are ambitious. It’s not only about being a choreographer & a fashion stylist. It’s bigger than that. But, I won’t tell you everything that I know nor will I tell you my next move. I know I am driven to get what I want, it’s that I have to show myself what I am capable of to be the best & be better than myself.

Pushing Past Fear

“The more you push yourself to do the things you’re scared to do, the stronger your confidence muscle will become.” -Jen Sincero

There are certain things that make me nervous & scare me at the same time. It’s that I don’t know if it will work out or not. I’m not doubting it nor am I doubting myself.  Its that, if it doesn’t work out, why did I bother with it to begin with? I want to understand the fact that it takes failure to succeed in a better way than I do currently.

I’m aware that I have to push myself to get out of my comfort zones in order to grow & be stronger mentally & emotionally. I have to be more confident about my dreams & the fact that I will succeed. It’s not only about getting to point A, but I have to get above that & grow into the person that I must become.

The things that I am scared to do involve the steps of going after my dreams. I know it’s silly to say that money is holding me back, but it’s the truth. I don’t have alot on my resume & that won’t get me anywhere at this point in my life.

Plus, I have expensive taste & grand dreams that will take me far. It’s not only about becoming a choreographer & fashion stylist. It’s much bigger than that.

On Confidence

“So all you gots to do is exercise your confidence muscle if you want to build it up.” -Jen Sincero

I feel that the only time I exercise this muscle is when I feel ready, when I’m dancing or when I am wearing an outfit that I feel confident in. I know I need to work on my confidence so that I can showcase my strengths more often than my weaknesses. Of course, I truly believe that my dreams will come to fruition & there’s no doubt about that.
